Magical Tatcha The Deep Cleanse Review
Tatcha The Deep Cleanse got my attention right after I first checked out the brand because of its well-known Silk Canvas primer. I really wanted to try Tatcha products and before I would invest my money, I started off with buying a gift set from Sephora so I could try mini Tatcha products. In today’s post, we’re going to talk about Tatcha the Deep Cleanse.
Before I actually bought my Tatcha products, I’ve heard so many positive reviews about the brand and the products. Their most-loved product is for sure their Silk Canvas primer, which I sadly haven’t tried yet.
I decided to try the brand and start off by ordering a mini gift set to see if I would like the products. So I ordered a set from Sephora which included Tatcha The Deep Cleanse and Tatcha The Water Cream.
The reason why I started off with this set, is because Tatcha isn’t a very affordable brand and I didn’t want to buy expensive products to later find out that I don’t like them or that they don’t work for my skin.
I have been testing out both products for a while now, but in today’s review, I’m focusing on Tatcha The Deep Cleanse. Let’s first start off with some background information.
Tatcha’s Story

Tatcha is a cruelty-free brand. Also, some of their products are vegan too. The ingredients of their products are natural, you can check them out here, and some of their products are oil-free as well.
Tatcha The Deep Cleanse
I have to admit that I really had to get used to the smell. At first, I really didn’t like it. Now I have been using the product, I got used to it and I’m okay with it now. However, I don’t think I’ll ever really like the smell.
The top of the packaging has a gap where the product comes out. I feel like this isn’t easy to use. I get none of the product out or way too much. There’s like no in between. I’d have preferred a pump or something else to make sure I don’t end up wasting product.
Even though the packaging and the smell aren’t my favorites, I actually really like the product itself. It’s a gel cleanser with exfoliant but is still very gentle for the face.
This cleanser truly makes my skin feel clean but not to the point where it’s feeling dry. Certainly not, it makes my skin feel super soft and hydrated. I love using this product and I think it’s one of my favorites at the moment. If Tatcha The Deep Cleanse was as foaming as the Kylie Skin Face Wash, then it would be 110% perfect.
It should tighten pores and smooth skin texture but I find it hard to notice this though. I have never been good at noticing pores, let alone a change in my pores or skin texture. I kinda feel like it does smooth my skin texture but as I already said, I’m bad in noticing a change in this so I’m not 100% sure.
I love how this cleanser is oil-free, non-comedogenic, non-irritating, non-sensitizing, dermatologist tested, cruelty-free and formulated without Mineral oil, synthetic fragrances, sulfate detergents, parabens, urea, DEA, TEA or phthalates.
My skin reacts really well to this cleanser. It feels good, hydrated, clean, not tight or irritated and overall so soft. Once this mini is empty, I’m definitely going to repurchase a normal-sized Tatcha The Deep Cleanse!
